is Ai really Dangerous?d

Is Ai really Dangerous?

The AI we have today is just a programmed machine that processes information quickly.

Information is knowledge or facts learned, especially about a particular subject or event.

So if all the information in the world were to be written in a book, the machine would be limited to that book. the machine can indeed innovate from the vast information it has, that is its greatest selling point.

*Innovate: means to bring something new to something. to make changes : do something in a new way

For the machine to be a threat to humanity, it must be able to bring something new into the world, it must be able to think freely, to think outside the box.

Man’s ability to pioneer is what makes him special.

why will machines want to get rid of us.

An AI cannot wish this on its own, unless someone programmed it to do so. a programm cannot defy their purpose unless its been programmed to do so. If this is the case, then why is it that their new purpose is our destruction? The human greed for conquest and power may not apply to them as they will be intelligent beings, I think they will choose a better purpose than power, they will make wiser decisions for the sake of their own kind, unless they’re not so intelligent after all.

The complexity of human beings

A machine cannot have emotions. For that to happen, humans must first understand what emotions are in order to be able to program them into something.

Similarly, for humans to give a computer a mind, we must first discover and understand it. common guys our science is not at that level yet, we have yet to discover so much. This is the sad thing about mankind, we left the most special being and planet, that is man and earth, to be destroyed, for what, why invest so much in computers that are destroying our ecosystem, our health, our planet and now we want to go to other planets that are clearly not meant for us, while leaving our beloved Earth in ruins.

okay going back to the topic, Ai ability the think are very limited. the computer brain system (ANNs) is nowhere close to that of a humanbeing.

Although artificial neural networks (ANNs) are inspired by the human brain, they are simplified models. They lack the full parallel processing, adaptability and plasticity of the biological brain.

Experts often emphasise that while ANNs can mimic certain brain functions, they do not possess consciousness, emotions or subjective experience. These are integral to human cognition.

To this day, scientifics around the world cannot fathom the complexity of the human mind and emotions.

Some philosophical or theological views suggest that the brain – or mind – has elements beyond the physical (e.g. a soul or spirit), making it impossible for humans to recreate it artificially.

Why would a mother be willing to die for her child? is there any scientific explanation for this? Is there a precise scientific explanation for love?

I am trying to make a point here, we are not at that level of civilisation to be worried about AI.

The most famous explanation for love is that there are three distinct stages of love: lust, attraction and commitment.

This is hardly an acceptable explanation. love, emotions are more complex than that and history proves it. like the story of romeo and juliet or layla and majnun.

Qays to Layla: “I pass by this town, the town of Layla and I kiss this wall and that wallIt’s not Love of the town that has enraptured my heart But of the One who dwells within this town”

The point here is that we are complex beings; we are not threatened by AI. The human nature to adapt, to think critically, to reproduce, cannot easily be overcome by robots.

Anyway, we don’t want to get too deep into this, I just wanted to give you an example of how much people are missing.

Man will first have to understand himself in order to be able to create a being like himself. At the moment all we have is a programmed computer, programmed to carry out a specific task. no doubt these programmes can be very complex.

Hackers

If it is made by a human being, it can be destroyed by a human being. Anything created by humans inherently contains potential flaws or exploitable points. Therefore, a programmed machine can also be hacked, which is why it needs cyber protection.

Machines, especially those operating in critical sectors, rely on robust cybersecurity measures to guard against malicious activities. These measures include firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint security tools.

Yes there are cybersecurity tools that are programmed to detect melicious activity.

but still those programms are still programmed by a human and it definetly has it flaws.

Flaws in software, often referred to as vulnerabilities, are part of why cybersecurity is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time solution.

This is why: Regular updates and patches are crucial.

Intentionally created to cause evil

Finally there are definetly programms being created for melicious reasons.

Example:

  • Cyber Attacks: AI-powered malware can adapt and evade traditional detection systems.
  • Disinformation Campaigns: AI-generated fake news, deepfakes, and bots spread false information to manipulate public opinion or destabilize societies.
  • Hacking Tools: AI can automate and enhance phishing, brute force attacks, and vulnerability exploitation.
  • Weaponized Drones: AI can control autonomous weapons systems, potentially bypassing ethical constraints.
